"Just 'Cos I Love U & U Love Me...

..It doesn't mean that we're meant to be..."
Thanks Jazmine to put it into words. Coloured in blue.
Does my life needs to suck that much ?
Hum.

Different words, Same melody : Same meaning

Could it be sometimes people really do not understand each other ? Could it be some try to when others do not give it a chance ?
Hum.. Pfff..

Devendra Banhart - Inaniel
Rediscovering Devendra's Cripple Crown LP with this song I heard during "Eldorado", the pretty sensitive belgium movie.

Whatever Happens/That Melody Will Remain

When rainy days are long,
When I am feeling alone and bored,
And that, in a monotonous rhythm,
Your name is resounding inside me,

This melody remains,
Always talking to me about you,
For, while singing this melody,
I can only think about you.

When successively in my life,
When I haven’t seen you in a week,
When, like in a litany, I tell my pillow
"I love you so",

This melody remains,
Always talking to me about you,
For, while singing this melody,
I can only think about you.

If, on a sad platform of a train station,
One day, life tears us apart,
Or that your heart takes another way,
Mine would be ruined,

This melody will remain
Forever inside of me,
For this melody
Will forever be talking of you and me,

This melody will remain
Forever inside of me,
And I know this melody
One day will bring you back to me.
(Added : Or not !) ;-)

Many Ways Lead To Love : One Choice..

...to be made at one specific decisive moment does the rest.
Then, a lot of work, imagination, fantasy. Attention too.
And so much more.
"Paradise Is Of The Option" once said Emily Dickinson.

When I fall in love, I would like to think about saying :

Many ways, I said.. Sometimes, it just fails :

Live and your loves will death belie

Of course I could use this quote :
"One can pay back the loan of gold, but one dies forever in debt to those who are kind."
Or I could say :
"I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom." (And please, Noble Prince, see no attempt of teasing from me in there ;-)).
But I guess, Jude has the words for something else better than simple thanks..
So just listen.
Enjoy your night and dreams.

CQFD.

Enjoy, babes !

Oldies Are Cuties

Just please listen to that one. I picked it up thanks to Mellotron.
Enjoy that littl' wonder ! From Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons..
Soon, more to listen, I have been too busy these days but there is more to come, be sure !

Oh Oh Ohio : Lio A La Nouvelle Star

On Revient Au Français Avec Un Anglais

Jamaican Breeze

Please, be my guest and just listen to this live version of Jamaican Days, a song of Skye Edwards's first solo album Mind How You Go. I listened for a long time to her first attempta s a solo singer, and her voice again succeeded in picking me to fly softly in the air.. like when she used to be the smooth rocket base for the trip-hop well known group Morcheeba.
Hope you'll enjoy travelling a bit with her..

Protest Songs - Italy (Part II)

I have been listening to that peculiar interpretation of this classic protest song for months, a few years ago.
The communist hymns, even if history has shown their practical "limits", have always embodied inalienable ideological principles...
More than ever, it is important to know where we belong.. and to keep all our senses and our reason sharp and aware of what is a real, modern and progressive liberal program instead of a criminal attempt to deadly control the destiny of a whole nation, like Fidel Castro did for almost 50 years. At the beginning of his mandate, I had faith in Hugo Chavez' view for Latin America's destiny.. But the years are passing and I can only see the same drifts ready to happen with him. Who can today build a new vision for a real liberal, democratic and responsible politic in front of the american neo-liberal pattern that has completely invaded our ways of life all over the occidental countries..

Hum, I guess this space is too limited to begin such a reflexion and it would need more references.. So let's just listen to the music, babes.

Bloody Great Paul Thomas Anderson

Again, with There Will Be Blood, P. T. Anderson shows how brilliant he can be.
He's so far away from any of his competitors in USA that it's quite overwhelming to get full aware of his poetic and inspired cinematic overview and control...
I urge you to go and get a deep breath of the latest american masterpiece, with a Daniel Day Lewis that has probably found here the role of his life.. (Funny to consider that, in a peculiar way, There Will Be Blood is sort of a documentary about his very own way to consider what it is to be an actor !).

P. S. - Grazie mille per l'invito, M.

Paradoxically/Honoré à l'Honneur

Just because those two Christophe Honoré's best-to-date movies keep on living constantly in me, paradoxically as some kind of comforting and soothing memento mori.

Somehow, someday, I have to find out why they do interact with me so deeply...

Awaiting, please be my guests and just watch these inescapable musical moments.

My pleasure.

Protest Songs - Latin America (Part I)

Nothing you don't know, but I always get emotional when I listen again to such masterpieces.
More to come if I find the good videos to go alongside these popular protest hymns.
Keep both your ears and eyes on these, babes !
P.S. - Thank you Duel75, for all this..
